Do you have a retail location in Hammonds Plains?

No, we don't. Our studio is closed to the public.

Where can I find your products?

Here, on our online store. We also have a booth at the Halifax Seaport Farmers' Market on Saturdays between 8 am - 2 pm, and our products are available at these fine locations. As many of our stockists do not carry the entire product line, we suggest calling them first to make sure that they stock your favourite soap and body care item.

I live in the Halifax region. Do you offer pick-up for local orders?

Yes. Saturdays only - 8 am to 2 pm at our Halifax Seaport Farmers Market booth, 961 Marginal Rd, Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Email your order directly to us at contact@earthelementals.ca. We will confirm the order with you and send an invoice with total. Once payment has been processed & when your order is ready to be picked up, we will notify you by email.

Tuesday to Friday: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm; Saturday: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

I'd like to order my favourite product, but you are sold out. When will it be back in stock?

We're sorry about that! Sometimes the estimated date that product will be back in stock is posted at the top of the online product description, but it would be best to contact us. You can also sign up for our newsletter to get product updates, recipes and the latest news (see bottom of the page for the newsletter subscribe form).

Where do you ship?

Currently, we ship to Canada only. Details on shipping, returns and pick ups can be found here.

How much will it cost to ship my order?

Canada: Orders $75+ FREE shipping; orders under $75 are charged a flat rate of $10.00.

Do you ship to the United States?

At this time, we are unable to ship to the United States. Ongoing uncertainty around duties, tariffs, and cross-border costs makes it difficult for us to guarantee a smooth experience for our customers. We hope to offer U.S shipping in the future.

Do you offer wholesale pricing?

Our customers are keeping us busy, and we are so grateful! At this time we are not accepting any new wholesale accounts. However, please feel free to check in the new year as we will be reviewing this decision then.

How long will my product stay fresh?

Our products are made in small batches with natural ingredients, so we recommend enjoying them while they are fresh and at their best.

Freshness can vary depending on the product, how it is stored and whether it has been opened. Heat, sunlight, moisture and repeated contact with hands can all affect freshness.

For best results, store products in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and sunlight. For products in jars, use clean, dry hands or a clean spoon/spatula when possible.

Soap Bars

Best used within 1 year of purchase.

As natural soap ages, some of the scent and color will fade. This is normal. The soap is still good to use and will continue to lather and cleanse as intended. To help your soap last longer, allow it to dry between uses and keep it on a soap dish with good drainage.

Body Oil

Best used within 6-12 months after opening.

Our body oils are made with concentrated plant oils and do not contain water which helps minimize the chance of spoilage. Over time, natural oils may gradually lose some of their fresh scent or feel. Store away from heat and sunlight and avoid introducing water into the bottle.

Aromatherapy Mist

Best used within 6-9 months after opening.

Our room and body sprays contain water, so we recommend using them within 6 to 9 months once opened for best freshness and scent. Store away from heat and direct sunlight and shake well before each use.

Salves

Best used within 6-12 months after opening.

Our salves are made with oils, butters, wax and natural ingredients. Because they do not contain water, they tend to keep well when store properly. Avoid dipping wet or unwashed fingers into the jar. Use clean, dry hands or a clean spoon/spatula when possible.

Deodorant

Best used within 6-12 months after opening.

Our natural deodorants are best used within 6-12 months after opening for best freshness, scent and texture. Store away from heat, as natural deodorant can soften if it gets too warm.

Lip Balm

Best used within 6 months after opening.

We recommend using within six months once opened and store it away from direct heat or sunlight. Natural lip balm can soften if they get too warm.

How long does your soap bar last?

On average, 3 to 4 weeks of daily use.

Store your natural soap bars in a cool, dark place for optimum shelf life. Keep it in a well drained soap dish like our stone soap dish so soap stays dry between uses.

Why did my bath & body oil arrive in a different bottle?

We're gradually transitioning our body oils from glass bottles to recyclable amber PET bottles. During this changeover, some bottles may still be glass and others may be PET.

The formula and size have not changed. The new bottles are lightweight, durable, recyclable and help reduce the risk of breakage during shipping.

I have multiple allergies and have to be careful in choosing products for my skin. How do I know if your products contain something that I am sensitive to?

Each and every bath & body product on this site has a complete ingredient listing. Click on the product and just below the description, you will see a listing for ingredients for that particular product.

If you have skin sensitivities, we recommend performing a skin patch test for compatibility prior to using any new skin/body care products.

Are your products gluten free?

Earth Elementals is not a certified gluten free company. The majority of our ingredients would pose no problem for people who are gluten sensitive, including the tocopherol (vitamin e) which is gluten free. That said, we cannot guarantee that there is 0% gluten contamination due to the fact that the certified organic oats that we use in our soap bars - Oats & Honey, Lavender Oatmeal and Harvest Moon Pumpkin - are not processed in a gluten free facility.
